Firstly, the Brighton Sun Club closed it’s doors in 2003 and is most definitely shut for good despite the number of online directories in which you still see it listed. There are now four grand houses built on it’s former grounds.
This site has been set up in memory of the happy times it afforded to it’s many and varied members from it’s founding in 1959 through to closure. Based at Scaynes Hill in West Sussex it was a naturist haven that people travelled from far afield to visit.
People felt comfortable there enjoying their leisure time naked in the company of others similarly inclined.
It has been very upsetting for many people to lose local naturist facilities and it is my fervent hope that a new club will be founded in the area at some future date.
People from diverse social backgrounds enjoy being naked and it is surprisingly popular in this country.
